The Selection
Selected by the Griffin Museum of Photography for Enduring Ground in 2026, chosen from over 740 submissions. The exhibition documents America's National Parks, and my work represents Channel Islands National Park.
The Work
Profile Point on Santa Cruz Island, the largest of the eight Channel Islands. Sitting about twenty-five miles off the southern California coast, Santa Cruz is largely undeveloped and jointly protected by The Nature Conservancy and Channel Islands National Park. The cliff face has been weathered by wind and sea into a recognizable human profile when viewed from the water. The selected work is part of an ongoing photographic practice covering all eight Channel Islands, not just the five within the National Park boundary.
